6 Weeks to 2 Years

6 weeks to 2 years

In our infant and toddler classrooms we encompass a family like environment for our youngest children. Our infant and toddler holistic wellbeing is of upmost importance. We provide a respectful environment that is rich in learning possibilities and provides a safe space for our children to unfold naturally in their own space and time. Our mission is to grow competent and confident learners that are secure in their sense of belonging and socialising with others.

2 to 4 years

2 to 4 years

In our junior kindergarten and senior kindergarten classrooms we provide a safe learning environment for all our children. Each individual child is unique in their own way and we understand that all children learn differently. We believe our environment acts as the third teacher and we set up inviting provocations that provoke thought and wonder for our children to extend their current interests on a deeper level.

4 years to School Age

4 Years to school age

Our Kindergarten room is managed by university-trained Early Childhood Teachers, specializing in the Early Years. The program is delivered in alignment with the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines and Early Years Framework. We provide experiences which allow children opportunities to develop a range of skills, knowledge and dispositions for learning that we believe will set them up for life long learning.

Our teachers and educators will ask you for your advice and input and will also in return provide you with this information. We provide an open-door policy and believe that communication is the key to any great relationship so please do not hesitate to ask any questions or provide feedback. I’d like to know more about your sustainability practices2021-08-10T10:38:46+10:00

We are proud to be one of the few Carbon Neutral Early Learning groups in QLD (learn more here). We believe that our children will benefit most from improved sustainability practices so we are always ensuring that we provide children with support and ways in which they can learn to care and show respect for the environment. We teach children how to care for our environment by helping to recycle all cardboard, paper and plastic containers. Our centre also encourages children to develop a bond with the natural environment through gardening, sorting, observing, creating and participating in a program that utilize natural mediums.

Any advice on separation and saying goodbye?2021-08-10T10:40:21+10:00

It is important that you ensure you say goodbye to your child when you leave and make sure that the teacher or educator in charge knows that you are leaving. We understand goodbyes can be hard for all involved however to continue building a safe and trusting relationship we strongly acknowledge that you say goodbye and not ‘slip away’ Our educators and teachers will acknowledge any feelings and emotions that you and your child may be having and support you throughout the entire process.
